Fly Fishing For Pike
This exciting branch of fly-fishing is rapidly becoming
one of the most popular on Britain's waterways. On
Chew Valley Lake in particular, the potential to catch
a real monster pike is always there. Martin has caught
numerous pike over twenty pounds on the fly and boasts
a personal best (on the fly) of thirty-two and a half
pounds. An intimate knowledge of the feeding areas
of the pike is essential for success, and with years
of time spent on the water in pursuit of the pike,
Martin is a highly sought guide on this water.
Pike fishing packages:
- Specialist tackle can be provided
- Martin ties all the special flies himself (these
are available for purchase.)
- For those new to pike fishing, handling skills
with this delicate creature will be thoroughly explained.
- The opportunity to fish for trout will be made
available.
- Trips may be arranged on rivers, canals and other
stillwaters.
- At certain times of the year, perch may be an
alternative quarry.
On full day packages, a cooked meal with wine and
beer are always provided.
